At Healthy Soul Wellness, we emphasize self-care being part of one's daily routine. Self-Care isn't something you do every now and then but something that should be done on a consistent and daily basis. Caring for yourself isn't Selfish, rather it's Self Preservation. And for you to be truly balanced, in your life, it's so necessary! I mean, I get it!  

 

You're super busy, you're balancing work, family, a social life, and many other things. You may even find yourself, making sure that other's needs get met, with little time for yourself. Well, I'm here to tell you that this can only be sustained for so long before you run out of steam! It's time to start putting you first! You're worth the love and energy that you pour into everyone else.  It's hard to pour from an empty cup.

Sound Healing
  • The Inner Smile Meditation
    During this one-hour workshop, you'll learn how to invite vital, healing energy into the body with the magic of the Inner Smile. This simple yet profound meditation can take you from being stressed out blissed out in a short period of time. It's an inner alchemy practice that takes dense and heavy emotions and transmutes them into a lighter more refined energy. It's a great technique to practice in the morning and throughout the day whenever stress arises. ​ This is one of the most useful meditations you'll learn. After mastering the Inner Smile Meditation, you become freer from the influence of your environment and the moods of those around you. We'll also learn movements that will work to clear your energy field and circulate qi more efficiently in the body.
  • The Six Healing Sounds
    Every sound you hear has positive or negative effects on your health and consciousness. Long ago, Chinese masters found that toning six specific sounds deeply, precisely and positively influence the functions of our organs, our energy level, and our mental states. The Six Healing Sounds is a moving meditation that works to transmute toxic emotional qi from the organs. The organs are representative of the 5 Elements of our being. If one element is out of balance and its corresponding organs, it creates an imbalance in other areas of our body as well. Holding on to negative emotions such as fear and anger for a period of times can show up on the physical plane and can cause damage to the vital organs and their corresponding systems. Combining toning, specific breathing techniques, simple movement and visualization initiate dynamic and deep healing. The Six Healing Sounds are extremely calming and over time helps to release unhealthy emotional patterns. Through this powerful practice, we'll learn to transmute negative qi trapped in the organs into virtuous life-affirming energy.
  • Psychic Self-Defense/ The Art of Shielding
    Psychic self-defense is the science and art of protecting yourself from psychic attacks that are done intentionally or unintentionally. In this two-part workshop you'll learn ancient shielding techniques that will help you: ​ Protect yourself from negative thought entities Protect yourself from dirty, unwholesome psychic fields Absorb and remove negative thoughts or energies like stress or jealousy in the home or office. Psychically disintegrate negative thoughts or energies in a certain place This workshop is great for healers, empaths, sensitive beings, or really anyone who'd like to know how to protect themselves from other people's stuff. Sometimes energies of certain environments can be toxic as well. We may not even be aware that we're being exposed to harmful vibrations until we've been overloaded and physical or psychological symptoms arise. In this course, you will learn how to create energy shields that keep you from being contaminated or even from being in harm's way. You can also learn how to shield your animals, children, and other loved ones in this workshop.
  • Qi and Tea Workshop Series
    If you were ever curious about the art and science of Qigong, then join me for this 4-week series where we will dive deep into the Inner Alchemy practices that will work to transmute our energy into a clearer, lighter, more refined state. Each week's practice will build on the previous class. So, go ahead and give yourself the gift of attending all four classes. You'll be glad you did. Here is a brief description of what you'll be learning in each class: WEEK 1: The Inner Smile Meditation We'll start our journey here and learn how to invite vital, healing energy into our bodies with the magic of the Inner Smile. WEEK 3: The Microcosmic Orbit Circulation Now that we've cleansed our energy body and learned how to transmute negative emotions into positive qualities, with the Inner Smile and Six Healing Sounds, this week we'll learn how to intentionally circulate our energy through the Microcosmic Orbit Pathway. This technique balances and refines our energy as it moves from the lower to the higher centers. It keeps the energetic pumps open and flowing, generating life-force and creating longevity. WEEK 4: Review and Integration This week is for putting it all together. We'll review and refine the previous week's practices and also learn some new qigong movements to further clear, circulate and refine the body's energy.
  • Qigong for a Healthy Liver Workshop
    In this Qigong for a Healthy Liver Workshop you'll learn exercises, meditations and breathing techniques to balance the liver Qi in the body as well as release toxic emotions that may be stored in your liver, impairing its overall function and health. We'll also explore liver healing foods and herbs to get your liver vibrating at a higher frequency! The Liver is responsible for the smooth flow of Qi throughout the body. In Chinese medicine, illness or disease is seen to be a blockage of the flow. When things, like blood, are not flowing properly, the results can be catastrophic, like a stroke. So, the Liver’s function of keeping Qi moving in the body is important for our health. A blockage of the flow of Qi is central to almost all Liver disharmonies. The Liver function of ensuring the smooth flow of Qi also has an impact on our emotional state. If the Liver is functioning normally, the Qi will be flowing and the emotional state will be balanced. However, if the Qi is obstructed, there can be anger, frustration, depression and a feeling of being “wound up” as well as physical symptoms like hypochondriac pain, a sensation of oppression in the chest, a feeling of a lump in the throat and distension in the abdomen. A healthy liver means a strong immune system because the liver is responsible for the body’s resistance to exterior pathogens. If your liver is in a state of balance you will have strong nails, recover quickly from physical activities, your movements will be smooth and your body flexible. Those with a healthy liver will also have great courage and resoluteness and will easily be able to plan their lives wisely and effectively with a clear sense of direction. This workshop will be good for anyone who's looking to improve their overall health or may be experiencing any one or more of the following: frustration, depression or repressed anger abdominal swelling or bloating pre-menstrual tension, depression, irritability, menstrual irregularities digestive issues such as diarrhea contraction and/or spasms in the muscles and sinews, impaired extension/flexion, numbness of the limbs, muscle cramps, tremor blurred vision, myopia, floaters, color blindness, a feeling of dryness or grit in the eyes hormonal imbalances irritability, outbursts of anger, dizziness, tinnitus, headaches, especially migraines lack of direction in life, feeling of being stuck
  • Qigong for Emotional and Mental Wellbeing
    In these Qigong classes, we'll help to lift your vibration as focus on Qigong movements, sounds and meditations that transmute lower vibrating energy into a higher frequency. We'll work with the transformative healing power of the Inner Smile meditation to melt away stagnant and toxic emotional qi that may be hiding in your vital organs. We'll also get a preview into the Six Healing Sounds, a powerful Taoist meditation that cleans the organs through sound, visualization and movement. You'll walk away with specific Qigong exercises that energize your body, relax your mind, as well as lift your spirit. Sometimes we just have to let some things go. This workshop will assist you as you let go of what's no longer serving you, so that you can live a more joyful, free, balanced, life.
  • Inner Alchemy Qigong Workshop (formaly known as Qi and Tea)
    The first Qi and Tea was a success! Many of the participants expressed how valuable the practices have been for them. If you missed it the first time, here is your opportunity to experience this previously four-part series, as one full day workshop. In this workshop, you'll learn the Universal Healing Tao Qigong Fundamentals such as the Inner Smile, The Six Healing Sounds and their corresponding movements as well as the Microcosmic Orbit Meditation which keeps the body's Qi flowing properly, seals and protects the chakras, and fortifies your energy field. You'll have a clear understanding of the origin of disease and how you can prevent it.   • Expanding Sexual Vitality Through the Healing Love Practices for women (Level 1)
    Do you want to feel more self-confident and deeply connected to your body? Do you want to become a more radiant and juicy woman? Do you want to find balance within your feminine and masculine energies? Are you experiencing painful menstrual cycles or PMS symptoms that interfere with your daily life?
